Ravenscroft, a 30,000 - square-foot music venue in Scottsdale, AZ, needed to convert an existing building into a 200-seat concert hall, jazz club, and recording studio, along with a multi-purpose room and video production room equipped with lighting for shoots.
To align with their goal of becoming Scottsdale’s premier music destination, their top priority for the project was coordinating top-tier technology with aesthetics.

Bringing this vision to life requires integrating a significant amount of technology into limited, discreet spaces, each serving a different function.
We’re talking about three multi-channel audio-visual spaces converging in one main production suite for switching, mixing, and control. Not only does this require multiple levels of intentional design, but it also calls for complex infrastructure.
To deliver a multi-purpose live performance concert hall fit for both speaking and musical performances, we integrated the Meyer Constellation Acoustic System. This is an electroacoustic system that changes the acoustic signature of the room in real time.
Using an array of ambient-sensing microphones, digital signal processing, and world-class loudspeakers, the Meyer Constellation system can make the room sound extremely reflective and resonant for chamber music or diminish all reverb like in a recording studio—all at the press of a button.

Concert Hall
To back their mission of becoming the premier music space in Scottsdale, AZ, we integrated infrastructure that supports a monitor world position for shows that require it.
Not only does this provide performers with the audio they need to hear on stage, but it also aids in band member communication. We installed Elation Fuze Teatro for silent lighting fixtures—perfect for a live performance space. The retractable fixtures located over the seating are intentionally designed for easy maintenance.
Jazzbird Lounge
Modeled after a New York City Jazz Club, this multi-purpose space features a Meyer Sound loudspeaker system, theatrical lighting, and PTZ cameras that interface with the main video production suite. A 98-inch Panasonic LED display shows content from the Jazzbird stage to the rear of the club near the lobby.
