Bible Christian Church in Garden City, Kansas, was ready to move forward—both literally and stylistically.
They left behind their aging traditional space across the street and stepped into a new 600-seat building designed for contemporary worship. But with that new build came real challenges: their old system had poor livestream workflows, no way to overlay lyrics with lower thirds, audio that muddied past 88dB, and limited support for modern production.
They had big goals, a tight budget, and a volunteer team that needed systems simple enough to run confidently.

We started with the priority: audio.
A full d&b 24S system with flown KSL subwoofers and front fills gave them full-frequency clarity and low-end support they’d never had before. Then we matched that power with custom acoustics tailored to the space and their style of worship. The goal? A room where people can hear one another singing, but with a sound mix that kept the focus on the stage.
The room’s limited ceiling height ruled out line arrays, so we used a point-source solution to keep coverage tight and sightlines clear. For lighting, we used a mix of Elation and Chroma-Q fixtures to create balanced, broadcast-friendly stage lighting and house lighting that could dim smoothly to 0%. Everything was programmed with simple presets, so volunteers could walk in and hit “go” without second-guessing.

Initially, the team wanted a big LED wall. But with a tight budget, that one element would’ve eaten up the rest of the system.
Instead, we designed a smart, standout solution: a ModScenesvisual centerpiece with integrated projection, surrounded by theatrical lighting to give them the visual presence they wanted—without blowing the budget. That pivot saved tens of thousands of dollars, which they used to protect the quality of their audio system, acoustics, and house lighting.
When the church experienced a staffing transition mid-project, we stepped in to train volunteers and get them up to speed. From room tuning to pre-programmed control and lighting presets, the entire system was built to be powerful, approachable, and future-ready. Bible Christian didn’t just get a modern worship environment—they got one that’s built to grow with them.
