Doug Hood to Retire as President of CSD Group

We want to share an important leadership transition—one shaped by prayer, gratitude, and confidence in God’s continued guidance.
 
Effective March 24, Jacob Schmell will step into the role of Interim General Manager, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and direction of the company. We are grateful for his willingness to lead and for the gifts God has placed in him for this next season.
 
After 32 years of faithful service, Doug Hood will transition away from the role of President. We share our deep appreciation for his obedience, sacrifice, and steady leadership. Working through our talented and faithful teams, God has built a strong foundation that continues to bless our people and those we serve.
 
Although Doug will no longer be involved in daily operations, he may continue to serve as an advisor and ambassador as needed—offering wisdom, encouragement, and prayerful support during this transition.
 
We believe this step reflects God’s timing and provision. We are thankful for what has been, confident in who God has called to lead now, and hopeful for what lies ahead.
