Derric’s love for tech started in middle school, tinkering with electronics and turning knobs on early audio rigs. That curiosity became a calling, launching him into live audio during college and into full-time production roles soon after. From life on the road as a FOH engineer and tour manager to designing large-scale AV systems for national venues, Derric’s expertise is rooted in decades of real-world experience.

Before joining CSD, he served as Technical Director for World Outreach Church, where he led all AV and lighting production across a growing congregation of 10,000+. His work has spanned concerts, stadium events, and broadcast installations, such as a recent standout project at Harvest Church in California, where he implemented a high-performance Sony and Ross video system that raised the bar for their production capabilities.

At CSD, Derric is a go-to systems engineer and project manager. With certifications in Meyer Constellation, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Digico, and Dante, he’s committed to creating systems that feel seamless, intentional, and built to serve, not distract. For Derric, great tech should disappear into the background while the message comes through loud and clear.
